So being a "starving artist" sucks! I don't know how often everyone else runs in to money issues regarding their artistic endeavors, but I have been without a real computer since the end of January. My girls laptop isn't powerful enough to run Lightroom and honestly my eyesight isn't what it used to be so correcting on the back of the camera is next to impossible. It might be cheaper for me to go back to using film, maybe break out my old K1000! On top of that I was asked to put some of my stuff in the local art gallery, of course to do so I would have to pay a $75 co-op fee, not so bad, but also have at least two framed matted ready to sell gallery prints, because I have the money to do that on top of my outrageous city rent I pay for my house and everything else. The gallery manager knows where he's at and knows the whole area is up and coming, not established. Not to mention he worked for the DOD for forty years and I'm sure has a great pension to support his art and his self-published books. Erggggg
Thanks for listening if anyone even reads these, it feels better just venting anyway.
